RMIT Medical Hub
Our experienced construction team at Roubaix Projects completed the fit-out of the RMIT Medical Hub, transforming a vacant tenancy into a fully operational medical facility. Our attention to detail and expertise in construction allowed us to seamlessly connect the new facility to the existing medical hub whilst still operating, providing patients and medical professionals with a state-of-the-art facility that meets their needs and exceeds their expectations.
University of Melbourne, Mercy for Women Hospital, Level 4 Office Refurbishment
This 400m2 office fit-out and refurbishment project presented various challenges. The works took place within a hospital environment with an adjacent fully functioning PC2 Lab requiring access through the construction works zone and the site was directly below a maternity ward.
Our services included upgrades to existing amenities such as the lunch room and toilets, installation of plaster and glazed partitions, bespoke joinery items, feature wall cladding and installation of new carpets. Our construction team worked closely with the hospital staff to ensure minimal disruption throughout the duration of the project.
200 Arden Street North Melbourne (ETU Building) Facade Restoration & New Entry Works
Works involved complete refurbishment of the existing brick & render façade of the high level building including brick repairs, render repairs, caulking, plant platform, bird netting & new signage. The low level annex works consisted of render repairs, new steel & glass entry canopy, auto doors ,new composite fascia & entry portal cladding including replacement of existing cladding.
To facilitate works to the Arden St facade coordinated shutdown of the high voltage power lines was required to maintain safe access.
RACV City Club Level 2 Meeting Rooms
This project involved conversion of an existing large store room into 2 No. additional meeting & function rooms to match the adjacent existing rooms of the RACV City Club in Bourke Street. All works were scheduled around the occupation of the existing rooms with all noisy works either completed out of hours or scheduled when the existing rooms were not in use.
142 Glenferrie Road Facade Strengthening & Restoration
Initial construction works were to strengthen the existing brickwork facade by installing support steelwork and making good the existing rendered facade, however during this process the client decided to restore the existing facade as close as possible to its original design.
